I favor BISTRO because it’s based on what’s not there as much as what is there. Don’t care if it started as a live trace — why not if you have a reference photo. Williamson Pottery is interesting for the same reason. I think it’s crucial that the viewer’s participation be required to complete the logo. Chillidog is a funny one, but yeah, good luck selling it. There are good elements about each of these — fact is, it will take 5, 10, maybe more years before they are really memorable. That’s just how it is. And some, you know what, might just look nice and sometimes that’s all they need to do. Really. Especially for a likely short-term application.

Hello David. Well yes we have removed our logo. No one remembered our bird bu, and I hope it continues, the name is remembered.
Sometimes a name is enough. One shouldn’t automatically believe a logo is needed.

I vote for Talkmore and BananasFilms.

My suggestion for improving on Chillidog would be to portray a howling dog with the flames shooting up from his mouth.

Excellent work. My top vote goes for the Panda Communications’ logo. It best represents the old adage,’Less is More’.
