That site was craaaaaaazy, I didn’t find the main script logo that nice though but the tech side was pretty amazing.

Not what I look for in a site but still, seriously appreciate that kind of stuff. Jealousy maybe?

I can only just program a C64 to repeat my name across the screen.

I have been on the D&AD site before, but that was a long time ago. Thanks for reminding me to revisit this site. there are some really creative designs there. I will probably visit this site more often now.

Al, I definitely favour websites that aren't reliant on Flash. Sites like Leo Burnett are incredibly clever, but not great for finding info fast, or linking to specific pages. Lauren, I'd certainly be interested to see. Don't go to the effort on my behalf, but I do think it'd make a nice post.

David, I think that CA overseas is pretty expensive :( I think it would be worth it (each magazine is practically like a book!), but I realize there are other equally impressive publication for a lot less money in Europe. I can take some pictures for you, especially of the branding section. Maybe I'll share them on my blog. I left it at work this weekend, though, so it'll be a bit. Now that is a burning topic that has been bugging me for a long time. I found the same thing, I was enjoying how the site was a bit crazy and the shaded scrolling system at the foot of the page was odd but cool. BUT, I think site designers/programmers need to chill out a bit and realise why people go on them and not to see how many of the latest tricks can be put into one project. Matt, definitely a close resemblance. Lance Wyman’s work inspired many designers.

Al, so is this a move to full-time self-employment? Whatever your new role, I hope it works out brilliantly.

George, that’s a shame. It’s not the most user-friendly. Sadly the case with a lot of design websites.

Hey no worries David. Literally left my job 6 or so weeks ago and set up the, slow but effective blogspot for the time being. I'll enable posting if you ever fancy saying hi! You can check the logo changes too, I've still got some playing around to do with that.
