I have also found that explaining these ten &quot;guidelines&quot; to the client helps. They feel like they are learning something and are part of the process. They also tend to be more respectful of the craft. Not all the time, but they appreciate me taking the time to explain (and then I can really hit a home run and sell my favorite concept).
