you should make at least 300x that….don’t sell yourself short.

Cmon $100 is not alot, you should be able to make triple that off of one logo design.

Your two cents are appreciated, Peter. It’d certainly be of interest to know more about the LogoLounge business. I emailed Bill Gardner (who I believe is the co-founder along with Catherine Fishel) a week or so back, and am awaiting a reply.

$100 is a bit steep, but it is more of a principal thing for me than a money thing. I guess it is just that new internet philosophy. Things should be free. Why foster any sort of hesitance toward the action (submit) that increases your logo base? The organization can acquire income from other outlets.

LogoPond is a nice site, I agree, and I’ve just featured 10 LogoPond logos that recently caught my eye.

If you don’t like the idea of paying $100 a year just to show off your logos, consider the fine logopond site:

which also happens to be having a June 30 deadline for design submissions (it’s free to post logos to the site, the design contest is a separate paid submission):

Not affiliated in any way other than I’ve enjoyed the site as a real (and FREE) alternative to the logolounge concept.

But no dead tree version yet. ;o)
