Project Projects
A quick mention for New York design studio Project Projects — founded in 2004 by Prem Krishnamurthy and Adam Michaels. Rob Giampietro joined as a principal in 2010. Their identity work is worth a browse.

I was reminded of a process Sagmeister worked through with the WORKac design — can’t seem to find it.

Their work is pretty good. I like the Fresh kills ad, although at first I understood “fresh KILLS park”. Wonder if that helps or hurts?

I think I know which one you are talking about David. It was for a theater or music building. I saw it in a TED video… but I can’t seem to find it either…

This one wasnt it? The most interesting part of this logo for me is the use of colour.

That’s the one. First saw it in the TED video Victor mentioned. It’s the process that appeals to me most.

Great example of minimalistic design.

Great connection David. It is very similar to Sagmeister work on WORKac. I personally love the viewer interaction with turning the page. This era of marketing is all about the user’s experience with the brand. It is obvious we cannot just try and condition the market to our Unique Selling Propositions. Merely showcasing functional attributes hasn’t been enough since the 80s. And now the Emotional Selling Proposition technique of identifying and owning emotional territories isn’t enough.
