Wolda for sale
The people behind Wolda “the worldwide logo design annual” are looking for a buyer.
For the unfamiliar, quoted from the website:
“Wolda is the high-profile graphic design award scheme that rewards the best logos and trademarks designed throughout the world, creating an archive that tracks the evolution of tastes, styles and trends in global design, year after year. Wolda’s standing is guaranteed by the endorsement of the most important design associations and schools. Designers, agencies, studios and students from all over the world are invited to enter.”
Having seen the financials, the venture covers its costs, but the current organizers are unable to dedicate the time and energy needed to help it grow.

A logo is a logo is a logo.
Some logos are witty and clever in their own right but that’s normally about where the interest ends. It should come as no surprise that the people behind Wolda have had their fill.
