Designed by Manhattan-based High Tide, for Last Bummer Records.
High Tide’s Ariel Stark-Benz (partnered by Danny Miller) said he got the stamp made for about $12 by Rubber Stamps, Inc. in New York. Bargain.
Not an elaborate project, but nice to see a bit of wit.

I love this. Really funny, and the stamp gives it a totally indie feel.
Definitely a fun and witty solution. The mark works so well as a pattern. I also love the stamp treatment. The logo looks great in one color too. Very versatile.
I would say this accomplishes what every good logo design should set out to do. Its clean, fun, simple and communicates a lot of about the brand very directly.
This is quite witty, but I wonder what type of labels are managed by them. For some reason, I don’t get Record label from this.
