Designed by Dublin-based Creative Inc, it’s a distinctive idea, and much stronger than the company’s logo before the rebrand (below).

According to The Sunday Business Post, Quillsen director Marian McQuillan had always planned a name change after buying the 60-year-old company in 2006. The rebranding is costing in the region of €500,000, and of that, €200,000 will be spent on marketing.

David, you didn’t mention what the company Quillsen is or does, or if the new logo design directly relates to that. I went to the website to see it’s a real estate company. In our opinion, do you interpret the Q/TM in the logo to represent a key, which strongly relates to real estate? Kim

I agree with the magnifying glass, I saw that too, but I thought the key was obvious. But intentional or not — I think a magnifying glass is also appropriate, after all, you use estate agents to search for a home!
