In 2022, the former Hiii Brand, Hiii Typography, and Hiii Illustration Awards have been merged and renamed as Hiiibrand International Brand & Communication Design Awards.
The Awards focuses on branding, business value, and communication design, “discovering and honouring outstanding branding practices and design strengths through a global call for entries and selection.” After 13 years, more than 80 international judges from five continents have judged more than 20,000 entries from 100+ countries.
Here’s a sample of past winners in the logo and identity categories, with previous judges including the likes of Woody Pirtle (his featured logos), Xuefeng Bi, Dominic Lippa, Debbie Millman, Yuefei Wang, and Eddie Opara. Many more entrants and winners tucked away in the Hiiibrand archives.

Great marks here. Really distinctive marks and combinations of colours. Enjoyed it🙌
I like the last one “spoon” the most!
I am a self taught graphic designer and I find it hard to understand the importance of a design sometimes. What makes the delicates design unique and worth it of an award? I am not hating, I just really try to understand.
Hi Lia, while I’ve not sat on the panel I’m fairly sure there would’ve been more project details given for the judging process — the brief, rationale, extra context perhaps. Jurors will mostly compare the work against other submissions (as well as previous Hiiiibrand award winners), so to some extent the award-winning work reflects the quality of entrant.
